The Monts de Lacaune and the Montalet: green, rolling hills, highest point in the south of
the Central Massif (1259 m). The Espinouse Massif and the Caroux: unspoilt and pointed crests, kindred scenery with Corsica.
Together they make up the mountains of the Haut Languedoc. Their identity being
characterized by their differences, they form an outstanding landscape for country walks.
